What if the overflow table flaw in the Saltwater Aquarium?
I have a 20 gallon refuge connected to my 90-screen gallon tank is the first time my box failed during overflow of the night … I woke to the sound of water in soil. I do not know what happened, I have a CPR overflow table with a pump to avoid any loss of Vacuum Pump and a wet / dry in my utility refuge. Is there a way to copy security of the population to avoid the use of an overflow occurs in the main tank? What should I do? I do not feel comfortable running my pump when the tank can overflow opinions …?
CPR overflows are known for that. You can get a UPS battery backup for the pump, or ditch all CPR and obtain a simple U tube style overflow. U-tube overflow siphon never lost even during a power outage and return immediately in power.
