Does anyone have the transfer of freshwater fish in a car cross country?
I moved from California to Illinois. I freshwater fish from Africa and other types do not know? Anyway, I want to move but do not know how? I think if they went in the tank can crack? HELP? Has anyone suggested that the fish without breaking? THX!
Yes! I can help you. I did. I moved to Florida. Get a bucket of 5 gallons. Plasic layer placed on top. Do not fill the bucket. Halfway worked for me. Go into a store and buy an Air Pump for aquariums $ 15.00 booking. It takes two "D" batteries. Click on a hole in the plastic insert pump hose. Use your water tank to put in the original cube. Tape the plastic wrap for the cube. Do not allow the fish to the cube in a parked car the temperature is too hot. Put ice in the bucket, if you have to do. (Just to refresh water) Many stores told me the fish needed to be packed in ice to sleep or send. Do not do that. Also, do not carry them in a Glass aquarium unless you have a van following. car seat (No risk) that are transported on the bus in a 10 gallon tank that I put in the bathtub, but filled the tank after I had put in the bathtub. I recently put in 5 gallons for a three-hour trip. The most important thing is to have oxygen. check the water temperature and if it gets too hot, put some ice cubes in water. Good luck!
