Can I put an American flag fish 10 gallon with two guppies?

I met a 10 gallon with two male guppies. I was wondering if I could put an American flag fish with them? Be aggressive and territorial AFF? Or all together? I have plants and a cache of documents AFF hide if he wants. The AFF is a very rustic right fish? I'm new to tropical fish and do not want something that requires a person who had fish for years.
