How can I get my betta sick to eat?

I bought two betas, two weeks ago. They were in a 5 gallon tank divide (divisor permeable), without filters. Four days ago, showed signs of infection Sushi columnaris (column as fuzzy growths) in the top of her head so she is treated with antibiotics. He died that night.
