The number of female betta fish can live together?

I just added a second female betta fish in my tank. I know they fighting fish and you will not have two males together. But I read that women can have together. I have only two females in the tank. I am supposed to have three? What are the rules to have more than one betta fish in an aquarium?

You can have any number of Female bettas, if kept in odd numbers. 2 is asking for trouble. Of 10 gallons is minimum for many Bettas. As you may have 3. Up 20 gallons, 5-7 would work. It is better to add all the girls at once. If this is not possible, it is necessary to reorganize all decoration of the tank every time you add a new Betta. This makes the betta believe we've created a new space, and discourages hierarchy based on aggression. The tank should be well planted, (live or Silk Plants, not plastic), and offer a multitude of caves, and Driftwood other hiding places. Although female Bettas generally do well with others, some people just not pleasant. It is always better to have a tank or a backup plan if you find even with a golf club. Good luck.
