What is the best bottom feeder for a reef aquarium?
I have a 54 gallon tank with 3 Turbo Snails, 4 Hermit Crabs, 1 clown, 1 coral beauty, 1 Dotty back, 1 brain coral, elegance coral, 1 1 arrowhead crab and anemone Haitian pink. I fed the fish every two days and corals once a week. The rocks and glass room very clean but the sand is wicked fast any suggestions on what I could to help keep the sand clean. I'd do a cucumber, but was told that releases a toxin that can kill everthing else.
What the sand, turn bad? Especially if they are not food, but every two days? Not Waste fish, because they have no solid waste, such as fresh fish. Is likely that what we see is coral and there is nothing to prevent growth to some extent. Urchin eating the algae but also feed on corals.
