Bulb Marine
Hello .. I started with a rock fish that 55 gallon aquarium Live … it came with?
normal lighting 32 watts … What type of bulb is good for this configuration .. Marine light But someone said I do not know … and also I have an AquaClear 70 Powerfilter Is good .. I still need a Protein Skimmer i thnk …. thank you
I guess your 55gal is 48L x 12W x 21? Light is the least important in a tank FOWLR. Water flow is very important. I would add 2 MAXIJET 1200 Powerheads, 1 at each end of the reservoir. Remember that Live Rock looks good, but is also its main Biological Filter. You can play with the position Powerheads attempt to eliminate dead spots and receives large amounts of runoff water through and around rocks. You may think it too far, but believe me, is very far from now, these fish come. My 75gal Aquarium Reef has 3 MJ 1200 and 1 Korilia 3 and a pump 1300gal for hours and return the fish and corals LOVE it. As harsh reality, My Yellow Tang likes to go head head with korilia 3 (850gph an inch of his face) LOL The AquaClear 70 is good, but be sure to rinse frequantly or eventually become a nitrate factory. As for lights, I went with a bulb of 50/50, 50% 10000k daylight and 50% actinic blue. The actinic is not necessary, but you will be surprised by the colorful fish of the same thing.
