Why do some Muslims want Sharia law in Western countries (the United States, several countries in euro)?

I'm not trying to generalize or intolerant, I wonder why some believe that the laws of these countries need to be modified to accommodate a religious group. Are not established laws good enough?

For the same reason that some "Christians" continue to try to push their religious programs in systems Western legal. They seem to think they have the right to force others to follow their personal opinions. Why keep trying this country where there is separation Legal clearly between church and state?
