Is having 2 different filters reduces my maintenance?

Hello! I begin in the maintenance of Saltwater fish. I a gallon of 60 tanks and bought a bottle of filter that operates up to 100 gallons and also bought filter feeding is good for up to 75 gallons. T have both filters to reduce my interview? The box indicates that the input filters that should change the filter pads, carbon bags, foam, etc., because after months.
