Instructions to cycle tank with…?
Nutrafin Cycle Biological by hagen, so I looked at the package and searched online but it doesn’t give very clear instructions. can you please tell me step by step for this.
PLEASE ONLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE USED IT ANSWER.

I haven’t used this product because it doesn’t really work. Read this (not written by me and I wouldn’t recommend stocking a tank straight away):

All these products SHOULD do is kick start a tank, supposedly add bacteria straight into it but what it DOESN’T do is render a tank fully cycled once it’s added!
I think I used Biospira on my first tank which I cycled fishlessly using fish food, but from what I recall (it was a long time ago) the Biospira didn’t really do a whole lot and it still took about 4 weeks for the tank to cycle.
If this product is just left on a warm shelf for weeks to months, the product will effectively die and be entirely useless. Bacteria needs food and oxygen to live, it may live longer if it’s refrigerated but stores don’t tend to have a fridge for these products.
