How to build a wooden boat?
I must build a boat that could float and can hold a person weighing 125 pounds. using only Published materials: 10 pieces of 1 "x8" glue cons-plated, large pieces of construction paper and water resistant paint. Someone Has he done this before, or someone has good ideas? There may be a raft, should be a boat and you should be able to paddle themselves into a pool without sinking.
Oh my god … We did in the mid 70 … There is a boy Scout canoe / kayak design, but I did not drawings! The difference: we also had fabric and staples. Basically, it took 3 pieces of 1'x8 'plywood-cons in the bottom with 4-inch strips along joints … were beaten, stapled, and covered with canvas. The upper part was built in the same way but with a general cut in the center so that the straw hat to sit. Both sides met with a canvas, and are separated by two bulkwarks "I wish I could explain better! I'll post and view pictures.
