Elimination of planktonic green algae from my pond and waterfall?

I have a new pond and waterfall without fish. I think it approximately 300 gallons. I do not think Never put fish in it. I am in South Florida, with much direct sunlight all day, and some plants nearby. Because it's very hot here and the waterfall is running, I must add water to my pool every two days. I also algae planktonic that turned nasty green water. I tried all Fountec Clorox, with daily brushing and scraping. Nothing kills the algae or my water returns to its original clarity. I read in the barley straw, a microbe, a lift, and many other products, but I'm confused. Any Help is appreciated! The main problem is sunlight as you say its very hot here in Florida in Oz.
