Accessories for my Saltwater Aquarium …?
What I need accessories for my saltwater aquarium (from of one), as water conditioners and things like that (what kind of filters and things that add to water for the fish) ……… and it is nessesary to have a Gravel Filter ????? (I have a tropical aquarium and Center-West is 4 'high and 12 inches wide … like a long cylinder shape) …
Do not use a plate filter in a saltwater aquarium. What you need is very dependent on what they will be remain. You need some kind of Biological Filter. Live Rock is the best, but it is expensive. Live Rock can also be used for cycling in the same So you need not fish during this period. For a simple fish only one type biowheel is fine and will be responsible for mechanical filtration. For Aquarium up most likely need an extension of a type of biowheel low enough in the tank for filtering well. It is possible to use Water Conditioners tap with cheap fish in an aquarium with sea water only. Whether you plan to never put anything in addition to fish robust only use RO or distilled deionized water for her. Even fish can get up that pure water is always the best. Use This water does not need non-conditioners. You must be some flow of water in the tank. Very high in a reservoir as yours you have a powerhead on the bottom and near the summit. 10-20 times the volume of the aquarium per hour for the total water flow is good. Need a heater. You need to maintain a fairly constant temperature of about 78 degrees. (less than usual for a reservoir region strange specific in what must be kept at a temperature of that area) If the maintenance of fish just a few fluorescent lights cheap will be a great job. The corals have requirements much more lighting. You will need a kit of basic test for Salt Water. Ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, salinity, pH. Again, if you decide to go that fish need later. Read about Chemisty and water testing. There are many articles on this subject which exists and is one of the most important Nice maintaining any aquarium salt or fresh. Good luck. Read all that can find. I've never done a tank too high as yours, but I love it. Partly it will be good when finished.
