black hair algae in a planted aquarium?

I have a planted tank with an infestation of hair algae. im using a solvent phosphate (I know that plants need phosphate) to help balance the water chemistry. Fertilization may have caused this? i Nutrafin Seachem fertilize with NPK and flourish, but I also have roots here. It is a planted aquarium. his black hair, algae can not scratch their long filaments ….

Yes, I would say there is too much fertilizer. You do not really need a subscription in an aquarium fish. Fish and food provided enough nutrients. You can add iron, but you must prove the quantity in the water first. The plants consume phosphates in the water. By adding more phosphates from fertilizers and all the carbon was also added, plants can not follow you and algae problems. Algae can take some time to get rid of it. You really should just clean it by scraping. You can delete any décor and cleaned by hand. You will find that people suggest algaecide. The problem with this is really the algae die and release ammonia increased nutrients in water, which may actually do worse flourish. You can turn off the lights a few days, but the algae bloom once lighting is enabled. Very lucky!
