Can water Filter System reverse osmosis softened?
I intend to soften my water all the benefits and return home. Also I purify my drinking water through a reverse osmosis system. Are these 2 things can be used together or use only 1? If you can all use a reverse osmosis system for purifying water for soft drink safely?
Short answer is yes, you can use the OR for softened water. A reverse osmosis system are also decent and pre filters post. 5 to 10 microns prefilter protects the membrane filter, reverse osmosis being clogged by particles in water. A filter activated after carbon improves taste and polishes the RO water. RO treated water is stored in a battery of small size (with a bladder tank under it pressure). Water treatment with RO filter bugs for some time and uses of water in a ratio of about 5:1. Send 5 gallons of water reverse osmosis to make 1 gallon of water treated, the remaining water is sent to a drain. Consequently, the use of RO water drinking and may supply water to the icemaker. The unit will treat a gallon or two and store it for use once accumulator has been crowned the unit stops RO water treatment. So do not use water when the RO is pending.
