Pilot light not staying at the Furnace Company?
I have a Carrier furnace – Model # 58PAV. There will be intermittent. I turn it off and turn it on and starts right back up. It was perhaps once a week. Recently, we have several times seen day.Today attempts to light the night and no lights .. What could be causing this and is something that is expensive to repair? Also in the oven, I realized it is a card that says IGNITER REPAIRED 2-06. I went to live in this house in March 06. The furnace is 6 years. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
This does not look like a lighter problem. Sounds like a problem of flame sensor. I HVAC company to check the flame sensor and most likely replace.
