Can I put an iron pipe as orniment freshwater fish in my tank? ?

Can I put a piece of real melting in my tank freshwater tropical fish? What does it do to fish? Is water bad for plants? I cleaned and burned all impurities so it is only the content of metals that could alter the water chemistry. Ideas? I just want to try and see who dies. Thank you

Cast iron is oxidized in the water, but probably only to a certain depth in the iron. The cast is almost 100% iron, with a small amount of carbon where rust and iron rust, if what is added to water is iron oxide. In a small number is good for plants and fish.
