I think to get a Saltwater Aquarium, is there any advice?
I always wanted to have a large saltwater aquarium, but am not sure this kind of fish to get, or how to add the appropriate amount of salt in water. Do you know a good website that contains Information for a beginner like me? I also have exotic animals in there, but you do not know what kind of species are aggressive and everything that. Thank you! (- Saltwater Fish are much more expensive than freshwater fish? Are they more difficult to care?
The first thing to consider is "if you have experience of fish? You see, Salt Water tanks are difficult to maintain. Not that I'm disappointed but like other animals, there are many responsibilities in maintaining saltwater tanks. Do you have the patience to maintain water quality, the level of pH, salt content and consistency of the fish? If you think you can do all responsibilities in their tank, take the plunge. If you are fever in salt water, you should buy the largest tank you can afford, for example a 50 gallon. The biggest maintenance tank the less you need. Also, you can buy the best book you can find in pet stores. In my opinion, books are better than sites on the Internet. The Most fish are easier to maintain those considered "difficult". Most larger fish such as Sargent and most fish girl are easy to maintain and beautiful you are in a tank. Stay away from the creatures more exotic. These exotic species are more difficult to maintain. Happy aquarium!
